Love the the chili dogs here and the great service. The chili dogs are very delicious and made to perfection. Owner was very courteous, nice and helpful. I recommend this place to any one looking for delicious chili dogs!

I'm happy to have Art's checked off my bookmark. Came here during work and the chili dogs were perfect for the rain. Amazing customer service and steamed goodness all around from their dogs, to the buns, to the sauteed onions. Their chili is top tier: soupy and meaty, just how I like it with that touch of mustard. Good selection of bottled soda too. Why wait in line at Pink's when you can eat here!

I've been meaning to try this place for years (decades actually) and now I'm kicking myself for having waited this long. Their chili cheese dogs are EXCELLENT! I opted for the turkey dog with chili and it is the best I have ever had. The turkey and chili were very flavorful and complemented one another perfectly. While there I met a longtime customer of 50 years who shared that her dad used to bring her and her siblings there every weekend. It's nice to know that in this fast-paced and evolving world, there are some things that never (and shouldn't) change. The stand itself is no frills but has character and charm and appears largely unchanged since it opened in 1939. The fact that they are in their 80th year more than speaks for itself. I'm definitely coming back.

OMG....has it been over 40 years for me? My after used to bring these home for us. Now that I work close to this establishment, I had to try.
Not a lot of parking spaces, but today I was lucky. Got at Chilidog and after the first bite, brought me back when I was a kid (70s). It was pure awesome.
I bought one for my millennial co-worker, and she's hooked. I can eat 3 of them.....
Do not let chain hotdog stands compare. Art's Chili is the secret.
If you are in Los Angeles (south central) you need to stop by and order Arts famous Chilidog with everything. -
